Mamá.

Yesterday I was going to the cinema, with my boyfriend, for watching the film "Mamá, mom in english". We saw the trailer before and we thought that it could be well, we decided going to watch this film.... Or perhaps because the other films do not attracted our attention. When the film was over, we were a little disappointed because a lot of things... but the supernatural effects seemed not real and for me if that happens, the terror film isn't a good terror film...I like terror films when I have to scream in middle the other persons; when I'm really scared and intrigued whole film and this not happens... and for me it's a shame to have spent 7 euros this time....

18th Februray, my birthday! 

This past februray was my 17th birthday and it was perfect; different of another years because it was new people and it was really really amazing! We did all (my friends and my boyfriend) a dinner in my house, with music, mirth, jokes, etc. Later, we have all going to the Carnaval party in Castelló and there we have all celebrating the party as never before!

I'm very happy for my 17th birthday and for the gifts they gave to me, all was ideal!

Dear Mrs Pintó, 
I am writting to tell you what I think about our high school. 

I am not sad with the way you are educating the adolescents, but the high school needs more interesting things because it is a little boring place: There are not new things to do, allways it is the same rutine and now with the economic situation of the land we do not excursions and this is not favorable for us.
I think the center education is hard, one of the most competitive high schools from the area.

I have got some suggestives for a better school center: panting our classes and the outside school (because it is not welcoming); change the timetable (we are too sleepy when we get up at 6:30am or 7:00am and favorable for us, because we don't work our 100 per cent), turn on earlier the heating in the cold days in winter; do german classes again, I think it is very interesting for the students.

I hope you read and heed my letter.

Description!

First at all, I cannot say her name, but I think that it will be easy to guess it at the end of the description. She has been my friend for a long time, but we have been really good friends for 3 or 4 years. She lives here in Castelló, I think she had never move out in another place. Her parents are a very very nice family and they protect her over all. A person who she loves a lot is her boyfriend, they are together for many time and they make an incredible couple.

Physically, she is a very pretty girl: mid-height, (with a) long brown hair, thin and honey eyed.
She is doing ballet and she loves dancing. She likes going out with friends too but I think the most important for her is meet her lovely boyfriend.

Personally, she is a very quiet person, she has never had problems with anybody. She is a good friend for her friends and she likes to help the other people. She is a study person and her marks are good. She isn't two-faced and she says the true alltimes, to all people she knows.

She has got a lot of friends and for all people she seems to be a nice person, a thick friendly girl. She's a peaceful person but if she get angry enough, she scared us all a little bit.

Should the experiments on human life have limits?

Everything in this life for the humans have not limits. For us, we have to be the best in all the things we do and be the best in our work or our school, for example, it's a very big satisfaction for ourselves.

In relation with this topic, on the one hand, I'm not against the experiments on humans life, because I think it's not very human discover new things of humans body, for example, if we have to kill a person or an animal for do it.

But, on the other hand, if they must discovered a very interesting, new and positive thing for humans life, I think that it's not so significative to kill a little animal, but I'm an animal deffender and for me it's not fair.

But in this world, a lot of chemists discovered new medicines using animals or rates to see the redaction that it makes in an human body.

In the future, It was a good discovery, how do it without have to kill poor animals.

England traditions!

Oral presentation, 2nd term

We have had somee problems and we don't have the video of our presentation, so I can't see what I've done wrong and commented the presentation watching it. But I can remember many things:

• Presentation and structure (10%) 1 I think we did a good prezi, with a good presentation and with a good structure of the differents parts of the presentation.
• Body language and eye contact (10%) 0,5 I'm a little shy and sometimes I forget the text and I look the paper for remember it.
• Content (40%) 3,7  For my opinion our work was very completed because we found a lot of information on internet and we explained the different traditions of different aspects/things in England.
• Vocabulary and grammar (20%) 1,7 I think it was okay, I have only one word correction because I haven't pronunciated it good. The vocabulary was easy.
• Pronunciation (20%) I have not a bad pronunciation, but It's possible that I ponunciated wrong many words  ... 1'6.

FINAL MARK : 8,5

People! Zara commits to go toxic-free

Zara, the world’s largest clothing retailer, today announced a commitment to go toxic-free following nine days of intense public pressure. This win belongs to the fashion-lovers, activists, bloggers and denizens of social media. This is people power in action.

Greenpeace campaigners began a dialogue with Zara (a brand within the Inditex group) in 2011 about eliminating releases of hazardous chemicals from its supply chain and clothes. But it wasn't until this week that the fast-fashion giant caught on to the urgent need to solve its toxic pollution problem.

Zara has now committe to eliminate all discharge of hazardous chemicals from its supply chain and products by 2020. And they're going to get rid of some of the worst chemicals, such as PFCs, even sooner. As a significant user of PFCs, Zara's commitment to eliminate this chemical group by the end of 2015 is a breakthrough.

The Detox commitment announced today covers Zara and the seven other brands in the Inditex group: Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Zara Home and Uterqüe.

The commitment is good news for the environment, but also a breakthrough for the public's right to know what is being released into our waterways. Zara says that by the end of 2013 at least 100 of its suppliers in the Global South (including at least 40 in China) will publicly disclose data about their releases of hazardous chemicals into the environment. The open data will be chemical-by-chemical, facility-by-facility and at least year-by-year.

Last Tuesday we launched the Detox campaign globally with a fashion show and press conference in Beijing. Related images and comments began to rise like a spring tide on social networks within hours of the story breaking. Zara's Facebook Page quickly filled with comments from fans calling on the company to Detox. Thousands of people began to share their desire for “fashion without pollution!” and demands for Zara to Detox on Twitter and Sina Weibo, China's leading microblogging site.

You can see who's commenting about the campaign on Twitter and Weibo in one place – people around the world speaking out in a dozen languages to a combined reach of more than 7.1m followers. On Twitter alone there were at least 43,800 mentions of Zara and the Detox campaign this week. More than 300,000 people signed up to join the campaign to Detox Zara, and many tens of thousands of people emailed and tweeted directly to the company for an ambitious Detox commitment.

Personal opinion:

I find it a good iniciative. With this, it's possible that Zara, at the beggining, lose money. But with the time they make more money because people were be interested in this new concept and I'm sure that other fashion companies will do the same, it's a guarantee of future...

Also with the interesting and original advertising they are doing, they attract the attention of consumers. I'm very happy that so international companies are consolidate with this things because it could do it all powerful companies, but so thus we can see the interest of only some companies to be consolidated with the world, and not only in making money.... and we appreciated it.

Violence mars Kenyan elections as police officers killed

Thousands of Kenyans lined up outside polling booths long before dawn Several Kenyan police officers were murdered overnight in Mombasa, in an ominous start to the presidential election today. Hours before hundreds of Kenyans began queueing outside polling stations before dawn, dozens of men ambushed the police officers and hacked them to death. People started lining up outside polling stations from as early as 4:00am to cast their vote in the historic election, with polls officially opening at 6:00am (0300GMT). Voters packed side streets as they queued in long lines in Mombasa, despite the ambush, which has been blamed on a coastal separatist movement.

Personal opinion:

Kenya tries to become democratic but there are a still  a lot of defenders of the old regime and they scare the people with violence in order to avoid democratic elections. But although most of the Kenyan people are humble, they resist in order to vote for better times.

Oliwia Dabrowska was 3 when she acted 
in Schindler’s List

‘I was the girl in the red coat in Schindler’s 
List – and it left me traumatised for years’

Her cherubic face and red coat were the only flashes of colour in the harrowing, monochrome world of Schindler’s List.

But the girl in the red coat, played by Oliwia Dabrowska, has revealed that her appearance in the film at the age of 3 led to years of trauma and shame. Now 23, the actress said the film “horrified” her when she first watched it at the age of 11 — breaking a promise to Steven Spielberg, the director, to wait until she was 18.

Personal Opinion:

The film explained the cruel reality of the Nazi Regime and the Concentration Camps and Oliwia was very young when she played in the film as an actress. When she was younger she didn’t recognized the horrible story of the film and when she saw the film with 11 years, she was shocked – the director told he to wait at least until she was 18 in order to be more prepared to understand the film. But she couldn’t wait and that was an error. She was too young and therefore she had a trauma for the rest of her life.

7 months with him!

I don't need to be a millionaire for be happy, for example, or have a lot of things of a high value... All these, are material things that don't make happy a person, they only help they for not be unhappy altogether.

My boyfriend isn't a perfect person, he has made some errors, me too. But we are humans, we can all make any err in our lifes, the most important is realize and apologize to the other person.

For me be in a relationship it's a very good sensation if you find the exact person, the only one who is made for you!
