SOMETHING TO IMPROVE

Of course, I can see an improvement in my English lever these last two years. I think during a year it's impossible to learn nothing. For example; in my pronunciation, in my improvisation when I'm explaining a topic or when I'm having a conversation, etc.

I think that the writings are the best form to learn English, for example, when we have to write a diaolgue in groups of two or three or when we have to do grammar book exercices, I think do the exercices and have the explanation at the next page is a very good form to study and later to practise, with the exercices. 

The usefully activities for me are: re-writing the corrected compositions, because you understand the errors you commit or class songs are a usefull form too, because it's a different and more interesting way for me, for example.

Sincerely I find all the activities useful or maybe a don't remember a not usefully activitie done in class, I think in all I have learnt something.

Next year I would like to do grammar book exercices; re-writing the corrected compositions; listening and evaluating to other oral presentations and watching videos (for me it's of the bests ways to learn and speak better English).

At next year I would like to watch more films because I like it and I find it interesting to learn more the language; free selection of the topics of the oral presentations; more classes to do book exercices for the exam...

MY ORAL PRESENTATION - EFFECTS OF CLIMATIC CHANGES.....

When we wrote our presentation about the effects of climatic changes we studied very well the information that we had found in Internet. It seems that this items don’t affect us directly but in the end, there are so many aspects that have influences on our lives and it is worth to think about it. When a topic is really interesting, it’s easier to learn about it so we tried to do our best and to give the maximum of interesting information.

 

 I am happy of the results of our presentation. I think we have done it the best way we could and probably the nerves don't help us too much. It was easy to do it, because we found a lot of information in Internet. But, at the same time, it was a little bit difficult to pronounce some words because I didn't know it and they were very specific. But however, I learnt a lot of new things and I was really shocked that we are destroying our planet step by step and doing nothing against it.

 

It is necessary that the whole society starts to react as soon as possible in order to avoid the worst. For me personally, it would be helpful if somebody tells me what I can do in my little personal area in order to help to preserve natural environment. I think that if we all together make an effort, in the end we could avoid the destruction of our planet. May be I can start by using roll-on deodorant instead of using sprays, or pay attention with my family that all the electric machines at home are of good energetic class and so on ....I don’t know, but may be all these little aspects could help.

I think our mark is like a 7,5. The presentation was good and the information, I think, was easy to understand and the vocabulary was okay.

  - Juliet (opening the door with a worried face) What it’s going on, baby? (She gets close to kiss him, but he turns down. Well, come in…

(They sit down on the sofa, but without any word) (Marcus decides to start).

-      Marcus I’m so sorry, I didn’t want to do it. I was drunk…

-     Juliet (she stands up and she invites him to get out home painting the door) Stop. Don’t talk anymore. I know what’s going on. You said you loved me. Didn’t you? I’m not going to belive in you again. I’m freaking out (shouting at him).

-     Marcus (Tears in his eyes) Give me a second chance. I love you, I’ve loved you since I met you, and I know I will love you forever. I’m not proud of what I did… F_ _K! It’s not fair, I was drunk, I love you…

-     Juliet Bye.

(He leaves home. She closes the door. She starts to cry).

We have always learnt to respect the world. Do you agree?

In my opinion we have never learnt to respect the world. Why? Because when we were young, our teachers never created a weekly school subject, by caring for the earth, for example. We live in a society that with our cars, the sprays we use, the smoke given off by the factories we are killing the earth gradually.

Firstly, as I have said before, our teachers or our parents have not worried for this aspects either and now, we are getting older and we are not aware that we are not respecting the world.

Secondly, with the smoke of the factories, the smoke of the cars and similar things, we are destroying the ozone layer.

Thirdly, the deforestation is very important, too. We are slowly killing the forests and that is really detrimental for the animals and all the vegetation of the planet.

In conclusion:

We need a lot of help to realize what we are doing and how badly we do it. Our planet is dying slowly and we will pay for it.

 A GAP YEAR

A gap year would mean to do a trip to take a break from school and start to travel around the world. During that trip you could go everywhere and you could chose if you want to work or want to visit only the land and pay everything.

On one hand, we think that doing a gap year, it would be very interesting and it would help us to know other countries and cultures. It would be a good opportunity because you break off from studying during a time and you would open your mind and think a little bit more of yourself.

Apart from that, we think that it would be a good plan doing a gap year and going away because you can learn a lot of new things for a cheap price. You can learn to be independent, to travel with a few things only because you don't need all the stuff you need in your current life – more is less.

On the other hand, we think that it could also be a bad idea to do it because when you return to study you will have forgotten a lot of things that you have learnt before. Not always it will be a good experience because sometimes it won't be what you had expected and you could be disappointed.

However, we will probably try in the future because you never know if it will be a good experience or not. Maybe we will do it when we have finished the University.

My Gap Year

When I think about my favorite Gap Year I think of an exotic island in the Caribbean. I would like to live on my own, my be only with my boy friend – only he and I – without any disturb from outside. No one who criticizes you, no one who tells you what to do. No rules, no obligations only living.

I would enjoy the calm and the beauty of that island. I would try to survive as Robinson Crusoe did hundreds of years ago. I would like to forget all the stress of that last year - I would like to charge my batteries which, at the moment, are really empty.

I would eat and drink only that what the island gives us. I would meet new animals, new nature, warm temperatures and especially calm.

I think that when you feel really “empty” you like to imagine a place, far away from all your current life and therefore, I like the idea of a lonely island.

I would enjoy the colors of the nature, of the water, of the animals and I would surely do a brainstorming. A “Setup” in order to be able to make the most of the next year.

THE ROAD

I like very much this film, i saw it a few day ago and it's really a very funny movie. 

In the beginning I thought it was really rubbish because it begins not as the other films I look normally, but as more time passed I more like it. In a few movies I had laughed so much as with that, it's vey original and a very good mounted flm! Borat (Sasha Baron Cohen), the protagonist, makes perfect her role in the movie. He goes to the city to see the changes that are, compared with his people and his small town of Kazakhstan, and all people are surprised to see how he acts and the ridicul that he makes in public or with his assistant travel.

I want summer arrives for a lot of things but a very important thing is that I do a lot of

sport and I go to the beach every day. My skin turns brown and I love i because my skin is

so white...I go cycling with my friends for paths and we have a nice day all together, with 

the hot sun and a good harmony. We mostly go cycling, but we do other sport too: we

walk to Emuriabrava, for example, to the beach... And there, we do a voleyball match

becase we love it and we have a great time! Later we pass the heat getting on the

sea...It's a fabulous sensation! I really love summer, it's magical for me and as I work, I

will have money for do what I want!

NEW CONTINENT NEAR BRAZIL

Scientists found a special hard rock deep in the Atlantic Ocean and it is not far from Brazil. People suggest that it's a possible existence of a continent in this place in the past because this type of rock called granite and is found only on the ground.

A team of Japanese scientists found the ten-metre-high rock more than 900 metres under the ocean.

A type of sand which is also not formed at sea was found in the area too. The team hasn't taken any parts for testing yet. There will be other teams who will do more scientific work.

It seems interesting that millions of years before our existence, earth was so different. The found of that rock makes us remember that we are only a little part in that big puzzle which is called human evolution. It is really impressing if we start thinking that in all the dark deep oceans is evidence of previous life. I hope that scientits find new discoveries in this world and we can realize how things change on our planet.

A building project in the city of Xinzheng in central China's Henan Province has been suspended due to some unexpected guests.

Thousands of swallows have begun nesting in the foundations which cover an area the size of a football pitch. According to local residents, the swallows turned up in the spring because they prefer the earth in the area. Experts say the Eurasian Crag Martins would normally build their nests in mud, flying south in the winter but returning to the north for breeding season.

Not only people but also animals change their habits due to the climatic changes. The change of temperatures and the natural disasters cause that a lot of birds and other animals who normally change their living area between summer and winter, stay now in the same place the whole year. Result: People must change thinking and adapt to the new circumstances but if we don't do it we only cause problems....

It shows how teachers and parents rush to comfort the children who were visibly in shock.

Twenty-four people are believed to have died in the storm, nine of them were children. Emergency workers pulled more than a hundred survivors from the rubble and over two hundred people were injured.

Personal opinion: It seems incredible that in the 21^th century, people have to die for natural disasters. I cannot believe that with all the technology we have, people cannot foresee these kind of disasters – that people cannot construct houses in that way, that a storm could not damage it – where is all our knowledge gone? That's terrible for me, and I'm very sorry for this children... I hope that the right people find a solution for this desasters...

I need to change my mobile phone

 

I am trying to get an I-PHONE 5 or any better mobile phone than mine because my SAMSUNG SII fails a lot – I brought it several times to repair but in the end, it has always the same problems. For me, a mobile phone is very important, not only for chatting with my friend at Facebook, but for helping me in every situation of life. Sometimes I need GPS, sometimes I need internet access for searching something, etc- Since I have a mobile phone I don't use my computer as before, only for housework or some few other things. Therefore I hope to get soon an I-Phone in white colour – I felt in love with this mobile...

“I change family” or “Big Brother”

 

These are two television programs I like most. The first “I change family” is about two women of two different families, very different one from the other. These two women change their families during a time and have to find the their ways to live and impose their rules to the new family during a week. There are always big discussions and I like it.

 

 

The other program is called “BIG BROTHER” and is about conflictive teenagers (young people) – the program tries to help them to live with their families. The object is to make them change, to make them wake up and look for life. Some of them are really conflictive and I'm very inter

ested in these matters.

What do I think about 1st High School?

I really couldn't imagine that it was so difficult. I started  convinced that I would manage it without any problem but it was a big surprise. I hope to pass all the subjects and the course because I would never forgive myself having been distracted during the year and don't pass. If I pass the course I will surely change chip and give all my best because I won't be so stupid to loose High School. My object is to study the career of Primary School Teacher and I would like to fulfil my dream.

Hádassa wents to Brasil for three months. We were very good friends but when she goes there, we lose our friendship.... We doesn't speak too much, because it's not the same and there she has her old friends... She will return to Catalunya this August, but only if she fiends a job. We ara searching work for her, but it's difficult because the economic situation of Spain it's not very favorable... Than, if she comes here and if she find work, we can go to live together in one year in Girona (with her boyfriend and mine). She is a very nice and extroverted person, and despite all i know that son we will all be together again!
